Oberthur Technologies, the world's second largest provider of smart card solutions, announced the completion of a multi-million dollar, 75,000 square foot manufacturing facility and service center in Cotia, Brazil. The new facility, slated to be fully operational by the fourth quarter of this year, will provide a single source vendor solution for design, manufacturing, personalization and fulfillment of mobile SIM cards, payment cards and identification credentials to customers in Brazil and throughout Latin America. Existing manufacturing and personalization activities already based in Cotia will be regrouped into this new facility.
